Privacy notice

This notice covers the Trippie waitlist and this website. The Trippie app will have its own, fuller privacy policy before it launches.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we keep:

• your email address
• the country you drive in
• the delivery apps you pick, if you pick any
• the language you signed up in
• when you signed up

That's all. This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking.

Why we collect it

To email you, in your language, when the Trippie beta opens and when the app launches, and to learn where drivers are and which apps they use so we build the right things first. We never sell or share your email, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who handles it

• Supabase stores the waitlist on servers in the United States (Ohio). If you live in Canada, this means your information is stored outside Québec and outside Canada.
• Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it receives your IP address to send you the page.
• The pages load their font from Google Fonts, and the home page loads its styles from Tailwind's content delivery network. Both receive your IP address when the page loads.
• Before we send any email, we'll name the email service we use here and update the date above.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. If you don't create a Trippie account, we delete your sign-up 12 months after the app launches.

Who can see it

Only the founder. The website can add your sign-up to the list but can't read the list back.

Your choices

• Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
• You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing privacy@trippie.app. We reply within 30 days, at no charge.
• These rights come from laws such as Québec's Law 25, Canada's PIPEDA, and California's CCPA. We give them to everyone, wherever you live.
• If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to your privacy regulator: in Québec, the Commission d'accès à l'information; elsewhere in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency.

Age

Trippie is for drivers 18 and over. Please don't join the waitlist if you're younger.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll email you before it takes effect.
